Most travel insurers require applicants to have a GHIP. However I’m only living in Canada for a year, so I’m using travel insurance (for Canada only) instead of getting an Alberta Health Card. Is there any way I can get insurance for a holiday to Europe?

I’m suffering from on going problems after a hemicolectomy i had last july. I am looking to travel to america for a month.
im worried my insurance will be really expensive due to my ongoing problems (mainly suffering from adhesions).
I’m looking for the cheapest option but need to be covered to avoid EXPENSIVE american hospital bills if i were to have a relapse.

My boyfriend booked a trip to Vegas for next month and I don’t think we will be dating by then. I put it under my AAA member number and he paid with his credit card. We picked the travel insurance they offered where you can cancel your trip for any reason and get a refund. Now my question is, Since he paid, can he cancel my part of the trip or since I’m the primary AAA member listed, can he only cancel his? I will still want to go.

I am going to buy an insurance policy, but can I go for the cheapest deal, which does not include £100 hospital benefit - do you have to use a hospital bed in the Netherlands/Amsterdam?

My son is going on a school trip on Tuesday 3rd Feb.
I only noticed today (Sunday 1st Feb.) that his EHIC card is out of date.

Can i just get normal travel insurance instead?
Or can i get a EHIC provisional certificate on the spot at the post office on Monday 2nd Feb.?

I live in Greece and all the insurance companies cater for UK residents only. Can anyone give me the name of a company who will insure me for a trip to the UK? Greek companies are way too expensive.
