What currency is much better to bring when traveling or having a vacation at Philippines? Jul 02


Aside from credit cards or traveler’s cheques…. Is it US dollars? Euros? English pounds? Especially if traveling to Manila, Cebu, Boracay… I’m just curious. Thanks! Mmmmwah!

    I believe it would be the US dollars. It is the most convenient to be changed here. I mean, we have money changers and banks here. BUt the US currency still reigns supreme in popularity.

    Though I must say, the exchange rate for it now is no longer that high as compared to before.

    US dollars. And just about everyone knows its value. If you happen to be in a remote resort, they wouldn’t be able to convert your pounds or Euros, and won’t even recognize the currency.

    Filipinos know a dollar bill when they see one.

    US dollar on top of your credit card, though use local currency whenever possible and change you dollar at reputable places.
